The final state rankings are out and Johnansen ranks #8 in D1 and #12 overall in state. Another testimony to the fact that the 2010 Johansen Vikings Softball team was a special group of very talented players & coaches. Never Forget What You Accomplished In 2010 Vikings!

Johansen's great year did not go unrecognized by Mark Tennis of ESPNRise.com, as he picked Johansen as the #12 Overall team in the state (no other valley team in overall rankings), and #8 in Division 1, in the final year end rankings put up by ESPNRise.com
BTW, Elk Grove the team Johansen beat once, finished #2 overall (losing the #1 by virtue of loss to Johansen), and #1 in Division 1.

So cool for a team that was NOWHERE on that list when the season started to end up ranked that high. You have to have had a good season the year prior to start on that list, then maintain that level to stay or move up that list.
Pretty cool for Johansen's players to put that in the scrap book:)
