Hoping For A Speedy Recovery For Melissa

Johansen comes out with the win tonight against Beyer by a score of 9-2 and improves their league standing to 8-0. Base running was definately on and the bats came to life at key times. Gabby, Sadie, Chelsea, Theresa all come up with RBI's. Theresa knocks in 4 runs with two back to back hits (triple and a double) that was within a few feet of going over the fence. Key plays and hits throughout the line up tonight proved too much for Beyer.
It did come at a sacrifice though as at the top of the 7th inning Melissa had an injury to her knee while at bat. We are all praying for a quick recovery and look forward to seeing Melissa back on the field with the rest of her team mates very soon. Take care and know that we are all thinking about you.
